The What it may say section holds the few things about the sentence that you state on purpose. They are saved as metafields on your shop, so Shopify is the record. Press Save and the facts sheet is rebuilt with the new values within a minute.

How to speak on the page

Choices:
  • Our one-line card (default). The dark card in the bottom corner. See What shoppers see.
  • Your popup tool. The app tells your existing popup tool to show a campaign you designed. Supported tools: OptiMonk, Justuno, Privy, Wisepops and Klaviyo on-site forms. Your theme sets which campaign to show; ask your developer to set window.NextIntentOutput = { provider, campaign_id, code_campaign_id } in the theme, where code_campaign_id is an optional second campaign used when the sentence is about a declined code. The sentence itself is also sent as a browser event so the campaign can display it.
  • A browser event, for your developer. The page fires a nextintent:moment event with the sentence, the link label and the link path. Nothing is drawn. Your developer decides what to do with it. See The card and the event in the developer docs.
  • Nothing on the page. The sentence is composed and recorded but not delivered. Useful for a store that wants the moments record without any delivery at all, which is the same as watch mode except the held-back comparison still runs.
What “spoke to” means with each: for the card, the card was drawn. For a popup tool, the tool accepted the campaign. For the event, the event fired. For nothing, no shopper is ever spoken to and nothing is billed.

May a card mention an offer?

Choices: No. Facts only. (default) or Yes, from my active discount codes. No: no sentence contains a discount, code or percentage, ever. A shopper whose code was declined is told the code is not valid here, then a fact: the free shipping line, or nothing more. Yes: a shopper whose own code was declined can be told a real code from your Discounts: “That code isn’t valid here. WELCOME10 takes 10% off a first order.” Only in that situation. A shopper who did not try a code is never offered one. See Discount codes for how codes are chosen and why offers are off by default.

Delivery promise

A short line, for example: “Ships in 1 to 2 business days.” Used for: a shopper who stalls on a shipping or delivery question can be told when their order ships. The app cannot read this from Shopify, because Shopify has no single field for it, so you state it here. Leave it empty and no sentence mentions delivery time.

Size guide path

A path on your store, for example: /pages/size-guide. Used for: the link under a size sentence. A shopper flipping between sizes on a hoodie page sees the product’s note with “Size guide →” beneath it, pointing here. Rules: it must be a path on your own store, starting with /. Full URLs to other sites are not accepted, because a card never links off your store. Leave it empty and size sentences have no link.

Saving and clearing
