Where: Reasons in the app’s navigation, and a shorter version on Home → Why they stalled. What stalled them. A list of reasons, largest first, each with the number of moments, how many were spoken to, and a bar. Typical reasons on a store:
What happened next. For each reason, what shoppers did: bought, left soon after, kept browsing. Side by side for spoken-to and left-alone shoppers where both exist.
In their own moments. Click a reason for the moments in that group, with the sentence and outcome for each.
Why it exists
Analytics tools tell you the cart page has a 60% exit rate. Reasons tells you that 38 shoppers this week sat on the cart under the free shipping line by less than $20, and 11 of them bought after being told what closes the gap. One is a number; the other is something you can change: lower the line, add a $15 item, or let the app keep saying the sentence. What to do with it
- A reason you can remove. If “discount code declined” is large and the codes shoppers try are from an old campaign, reissue the code or add a clear line to the cart page. The moments show the count, not the codes (they are hashed), but the timing usually tells you which campaign.
- A reason the sentence answers. Under the free shipping line, and flipping sizes where a note exists, are the two the app handles best. Their spoken-to outcomes on this page tell you how well.
- A reason the sentence cannot answer. Flipping sizes on products with no note. Write the notes. See Product notes.
