The facts, one by one
Free shipping line
Read from: your shipping profiles (Settings → Shipping and delivery in Shopify). The app takes the general profile, finds the zone for your home country, and reads the lowest order value at which a rate becomes free. Used for: the most common sentence. A cart at $58 with free shipping at $75 can be told “Add the Camp Mug ($18) and shipping is free.” If it is missing: the sheet shows “not set” and the app never mentions shipping. It will not guess. If you offer free shipping over an amount but the sheet says not set, check that the rate in Shopify is a price-based rate with a minimum order value, not a flat $0 rate.Standard shipping rate
Read from: the same zone, the lowest paid rate. Used for: the second half of a shipping sentence: “Shipping is free at $75 or more, $6 below that.”Other destinations
Read from: every other zone in the profile, with its countries. Used for: a shopper whose country selector points to another zone hears that zone’s line. A shopper in a country you have no zone for hears nothing about shipping, because there is no true line to state. See Try it: another country.Return window
Read from: your refund policy (Settings → Policies). The app looks for a number of days in the policy text. Used for: “Returns are accepted within 30 days.” The card says “accepted”, never “free”, unless your policy states returns are free. If it is missing: the sheet says “not found in your refund policy. Add a day count there and it appears here.” Write the window as a plain number of days, for example “You have 30 days to return an item.”The app reads the first day count it finds. If your policy opens with “refunds are processed within 10 business days” before it mentions the 30-day window, check the sheet shows 30 and not 10. Put the return window first in the policy text if it does not.
Discount codes it may name
Read from: your active and scheduled code discounts (Discounts in Shopify). Up to 25 codes, with their percent, start and end dates, and whether they are for first orders only. Used for: only when May a card mention an offer? is set to yes, and only for a shopper whose own code was declined. See Discount codes. If offers are off (the default): the codes are still read so the sheet is complete, but no card ever names one.Items that get a cart over the line
Read from: your active products, sorted by price. The app keeps the cheapest items under your free shipping line. Used for: naming something specific in the shipping sentence. “Add the Camp Mug ($18)” is better than “add $17 more”.Product notes
Read from: the NextIntent note field the app adds to every product in Products. One line, written by you. Used for: the sentence on a product page when a shopper flips between sizes without adding to the cart: “Runs small. Most people take one size up.” See Product notes. If there are none: the app stays quiet on product pages. The sheet says “none yet”.Your own choices
Read from: the fields you set on Settings → What it may say: how to speak on the page (card, your popup tool, an event, nothing), whether offers may be mentioned, a delivery promise (“Ships in 1 to 2 business days”), and the path to your size guide. See What it may say. When the sheet is rebuilt
The sheet is read again:- when something changes in Shopify. Products, discounts, shipping and shop settings send the app a notice, and the sheet rebuilds within a minute.
- when you open the app, if the last read is more than 10 minutes old.
- once a day, in the background.
- when you press Rebuild on Settings → What it read from your store.
