Where it is
At the top of Home, above this month’s numbers. The heading shows how far along you are, for example “4 of 6 done”, with a bar under it. One item is open at a time; click any item to open it.Get NextIntent running
These three are the same as the last three welcome screens. If you pressed Skip for now on those screens, this is how you get back to them.
Why it matters: until all three are done, nothing reaches your shoppers, or nothing is counted. These are the only steps that stop the app from working.
Make what it says better
These items come from your own store. Some appear only when they apply.Add a fit note to your most-viewed products
What it is: a list of up to five products that shoppers got stuck on this month while choosing a size or color, and that have no fit note yet. Each one shows how many shoppers got stuck on it and an Add a note link that opens the product in Shopify. How to do it: on the product page in Shopify, scroll to the bottom and fill in the NextIntent note field with one line about how it fits, for example “Runs small. Between sizes? Size up.” Save the product. The app reads the note within a few minutes. What it is worth: a shopper switching between M and L is the most common way a sale stalls. A note on how the product fits is the most useful thing the card can say, and it saves you a return when they would have guessed wrong. Done when: every product shoppers got stuck on this month has a note. Before anyone has got stuck on a size, the item explains where the list will come from, and you can add notes to any product in the meantime.Set your delivery promise
What it is: one sentence about when an order ships, typed right in the guide and saved with Save. It is the same field as Settings → What it may say → Delivery promise. What it is worth: “When will it get here?” is a question that makes shoppers wait for a better time to buy. With a delivery promise, the card can answer it while they are still deciding. Done when: the field is filled in. Clearing it in Settings brings the item back.Check your free-shipping line
What it is: the free-shipping amount the app read from your shipping settings, and the exact sentence a shopper sees when they are close to it. With a 62 in the cart sees “You are $13 from free shipping.” How to do it: if the amount is right, press Looks right. If it is wrong, press Fix it in Shopify, change your shipping rates, and the app reads them again. If you do not offer free shipping, the item says so, and No free shipping, that is right marks it done. What it is worth: a surprise shipping charge is the most common reason a cart dies on the cart page. A shopper who is told they are $13 away often adds one more thing instead of leaving.Tell Klaviyo why shoppers got stuck
What it is: one switch, shown only when Klaviyo is on your storefront. It is the same switch as Settings → What it may say → Tell Klaviyo why they got stuck. What it is worth: your abandoned-cart email can say why the shopper left, for example a line about fit and returns, instead of only “you left something behind”. Nothing about who the shopper is gets sent. See Klaviyo for the line to put in your email.Skip, bring back, hide
- Skip sets an item aside. Skipped items count as settled, show “Skipped”, and have a Bring it back button.
- Hide guide removes the whole guide from Home. Everything in it is also in Settings.
- The guide goes away by itself once every item is done or skipped.
