API overview - NextIntent

The management API is how a program does what the console and the Shopify app do: create and configure websites, write the facts sheet, and read the views. It is the same API the Shopify app runs on. Storefront traffic (the SDK, the cart beacon, the card) goes to sdk.nextintent.ai and is described under Developers, not here.

https://api.nextintent.ai/v1

The live contract is served at https://api.nextintent.ai/v1/openapi.json, the one route that needs no token. This reference is generated from a copy of it.

Conventions

JSON in and out. Timestamps are UTC ISO strings.
Errors are { "error": "..." } with a 4xx status. A refused site (not yours, or not found) is a 404, never a 403, so the API does not confirm that a site id exists.
Website ids are the same site_id the SDK script tag uses.
Rate limits: 600 requests a minute per key, 60 a minute per IP before authentication. Over the limit answers 429.
