# Money

> The Money page: shoppers spoken to, orders credited, revenue from those shoppers, sold at full price, stalled carts right now, where carts are lost, the ledger, and the comparison with shoppers left alone.

Money is the page that says what NextIntent did in your store's currency. Every number on it comes from the same record as the ledger at the bottom, so you can trace any figure to the moments behind it. The page refreshes on its own while it is open.

## The three numbers

**Shoppers we spoke to.** Stuck shoppers who saw a sentence this month. Only a card the page confirmed as shown counts. See [What "spoke to" means](/shopify/how-it-works/spoke-to).

**Orders credited.** Orders from those shoppers placed within seven days of the moment. One credit per order: if a shopper saw two cards on two visits and placed one order, it is credited once, to the later moment.

**Revenue from those shoppers.** The value of the credited orders, minus refunds, counted in full. This is the figure you are billed 5% of. The shoppers left alone are the proof of what part of it was the sentence's doing; they are shown below, never subtracted here.

Until the first orders land, the page shows sample figures and says so: "Sample figures until your first orders land. The layout and the rows are the real ones."

## Sold at full price

Credited orders that used no discount code, as a count and a value. With offers off (the default) this is close to all of them. It is the margin the app did not give away, and it is the number to compare with a popup tool that offers 10% to everyone.

## Stalled carts right now

Shoppers who stalled in the last half hour, with the cart value, the reason, and how long ago. A live list of who is stuck at this minute. It empties as they buy or leave.

## Where carts are lost

Moments grouped by what stalled the shopper, with the cart value that went with them, for shoppers who then left. The same reasons as the **Reasons** page, in money. A store that sees \$2,400 of carts lost this month on "under the free shipping line" knows exactly what a lower line would be worth.

## The ledger

Every moment, newest first, with the cart, the reason, where it happened, what the app did, and the order it led to. The **action** column is one of:

| Action | Meaning |
| - | - |
| Engaged: Specific help / Offered help | A sentence was shown |
| Held back to compare | Chosen at random for the comparison, left alone |
| Left alone, nothing shown | The app decided to speak but no sentence reached the screen: messages were off, the shopper left, or the card was withdrawn |
| Stayed quiet | The app decided not to speak, with the reason |

An order in the last column links to the moment it was credited to. The whole ledger downloads as CSV from **Settings → Your data**. See [Exports](/shopify/reports/exports).

## Did it make a difference?

The comparison. Two rates, once both groups have 30 shoppers:

* **Spoke to:** of the shoppers who saw a sentence, the share that bought within seven days.
* **Left alone:** of the shoppers held back at random, the share that bought on their own.

The difference is the app's contribution. If 14% of spoken-to shoppers bought and 8% of held-back shoppers bought, the sentence turned about 6 in 100 stuck shoppers into buyers who would not have bought otherwise. The page states the incremental revenue that implies.

Before both groups reach 30, the page shows "Until then: who bought on their own" with the counts so far. The note under it is worth reading: a high rate on the spoken-to line alone means the app is finding shoppers who were going to buy, which is the aim, but it does not by itself show that speaking helped. Only the comparison does.

<Info>
"Left alone" on this page means a stuck shopper the app decided to speak to but did not: held back at random, or nothing shown because messages were off. That is why watch-mode weeks fill the left-alone side and give you a baseline before you turn Messages on.

## How this is counted

The page's own note, in full: a moment is credited when a sentence was shown and the same shopper orders within seven days of it. Revenue from those shoppers is the value of those orders, minus refunds, counted in full, and each order is credited once. Once both groups reach 30 stalled shoppers, the comparison shows how many more of the shoppers spoken to bought than the ones left alone. Sold at full price counts credited orders that used no discount code.

## Why it is counted this way

Merchants in this category do not believe attribution, and they are right: a 72-hour window that credits any purchase by anyone who saw a popup is not a measurement. NextIntent's credit needs a sentence on the screen and an order from that shopper within seven days, one credit per order, and shows you the shoppers it deliberately left alone so you can check. The bill is on the credited orders in full, because if the app helped, it is paid. The held-back comparison is there so you can see how much it helped.
