# Update a website

> Change a website's name, switches, held-back share, vertical or allowed origins.

Send only the fields to change. `shadow` false turns messages on (active mode); `card_enabled` turns the on-page card on or off; `holdout_pct` is the held-back share between 0.05 and 0.5. Changing `allowed_origins` re-signs the site token; the SDK picks up the new token on its next settings call.
